B2B Integration Strategy (OnPremise, OnDemand and Hybrid)

In all different industry verticals, there is a growing need for connecting to Business partners and networks. The B2B integration space is diverse and vast. There is growing demand from business perspective including Process Management, low TCO, quick ROI, leveraging existing investment, outsourcing, support for different EDI formats etc. Also, B2B technical (protocols and security) integration capabilities that customers desire to use out of the box with a B2B integration solution.

Different needs resulted in different integration models for organizations and a 360 degree solution approach from SAP covering all aspects

1)      OnPremise:  SAP NetWeaver Process Orchestration/Integration with inbuilt B2B capabilities

2)      OnDemand:  SAP Information Interchange OnDemand

3)      Hybrid: Mix of OnPremise and OnDemand (1 and 2)

      I was wondering where EDICross gate will be positioned in the Netweaver PI suite..

      your document provided clear info on the B2B vision of SAP and cross gate's position.
