SAP Cloud Strategy – Digging in with SAP Mentors on SuccessFactors, ByDesign, Netweaver Cloud and Ariba
Jon Reed recently pulled together fellow SAP mentors Dick Hirsch , Leonardo De Araujo and myself to talk about SAP HCM/SuccessFactors, Business ByDesign, Netweaver Cloud and Ariba. It was an enjoyable discussion athough I had some PC issues which even the great editing skills of Jon could not overcome therefore my words and mouth are not quite lined up . I am a big believer that staying informed is going to be a crucial component for customers and consultants in this fast changing and dynamic environment and I hope you enjoy this.
SAP has invited some bloggers to Palo Alto next week for a Cloud, Mobility and HANA briefing where we will get some more details on the overall cloud strategy which could impact some of our viewpoints. On a side note the issues recording this video were a blessing in disguise as it finally pushed me over the top to leave the PC world and I am the proud new owner of a Apple Macbook Pro Retina which I couldn’t be more happy with

Thanks for your blog. I found it very informative about SAP's cloud strategy. I also liked the conversational nature of the video.
Like many others interested in Procurement/ SRM topics, I will follow with keen interest how SAP's cloud strategy evolves as the result of Ariba acquisition.
I believe enabling buyers/suppliers on cloud is one of the major reasons, alongwith mobility and analytics, in customers' renewed interest in SRM marketplace (My recent blog).
Please keep us posted in this forum about any further developments on SAP's cloud strategy regarding SAP HCM/SuccessFactors, Business ByDesign, Netweaver Cloud and Ariba.
