SAP University Alliances and SyBase Team participated in the 10th International Congress on Intellectual Systems and Information Technologies (ICAI 2012) as a sponsor and technological partner. The Congress to take place from September 2 to September 9 in the Black Sea shore of Russia to gather over 200 leading professors and scientists in the field of artificial intelligence, information systems and intellectual CAD which is "one of the key arenas for sharing recent developments and research results in Russia and abroad," as cited from the greeting letter of the Minister of Education of Russian Federation.
Technological topic SAP presented at the Congress closely matched with the scientific and research interests of attending academicians and provoked an intensive discussion. On September 3, Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise, Sybase IQ and HANA as a part SAP technology stack and also as a curricula material for universities were presented SAP University Alliances also organized a train-the-trainer workshop for professors teaching SyBase in universities in which original curricula material for SyBase PowerDesigner was introduced. 20 faculty members from 12 different universities attended the workshop.
