Usha is a consumer durable products company that ranges from ceiling fans to sewing machines as well as home appliances such as juicers, mixers, microwaves, irons etc. It also procures agricultural power products like diesel engines and various types of pumps.
Usha is a common name in India and is a Siddharth Shriram Group company operating in China, Nepal, South Africa, Sri Lanka and the Middle
East. And like many large manufacturing/distributing companies, Usha was looking to reduce excess inventory to lower costs.
Turning to SAP HANA resulted in a 50% reduction in only a month and a half and now Usha is able to operate faster and more efficiently and can pass its savings on to its customers.
