Summer vacation time is going to end. Hope you had a great time with family and friends! So let’s check the schedule for the next BI / Analytics conferences.

September starts with a real highlight, the ASUG SAP BusinessObjects User Conference will take place September 10-13, 2012 at The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort in Orlando. You are passionate about SAP BusinessObjects and want to be part of THE community? Then this is your ‘must be’ event of the year!

One week later the TDWI World Conference Series presents ‘AGILE BI’ on September 16-21, 2012 at Boston, MA. Six days of courses covering a wide range of BI/DW topics, including BI essentials, business analytics, data analysis and design, data asset management, and leadership and management.

For most of the Analytics geeks the conference year starts in October. Where do you get 1,000 hours on SAP technologies, focused on SAP NetWeaver, Analytics, and mobile platforms? Where can you attend hands-on workshops, demo-driven lectures, and Q&A sessions on the latest developments in analytics, mobile, cloud, database, and in-memory computing? Where do you meet all the great SAP Mentors? The SAP TechEd 2012 series starts on October 15–19 at Las Vegas, NV.

Looking for a challenge? Go to the conference web sites and search for the phrase ‘most important event of the year’. You will find it for all of them …

Next in line is the BI2012 on October 16-18 at Singapore. I was at this event beginning of the year in Las Vegas and it was a great experience!

Looking for some conferences in Europe? The Predictive Analytics World will be in Düsseldorf (Germany) and London in November. You want to know how Analytics helps the Danish ministry of Taxation to improve tax collection? Then this is your conference.

And finally <drum roll> SAPPHIRENOW and SAP TechEd 2012 in November at Madrid and Bangalore! Ok, these are no pure Analytics events, but check the session catalog!

Do you miss a conference?

Best regards,

Matthias Wild – proud to be part of SAP Global IT where SAP runs SAP.
