Believe it or not, but ABAP development tools for Eclipse is out now! This session will provide a step-by-step introduction into the new integrated development environment for ABAP, based on the open Eclipse platform. You will also learn a lot of tips and tricks from experienced ABAP tools developers.
This session will provide an overview of new and enhanced ABAP language features, plus, you will learn how to apply them using the new and exciting ABAP development tools for Eclipse platform. The new ABAP features covered will include: extended expressions, secondary keys, dynamic where clauses for internal tables, string templates, and much more. You will also learn tips and tricks from experienced developers about how to use the new ABAP development tools for Eclipse platform.
The ABAP development tools for Eclipse are the new modern integrated development environment (IDE) for ABAP. In the future, it will also come along with a software development kit (SDK) that you can use to extend development tools with your own plug-ins. In this session, we will show the capabilities of the SDK based on a pilot project in cooperation with our partner, smartShift.
All sessions are offered in Las Vegas (Oct 15-19), Madrid (Nov 13-16) and Bangalore (Nov 28-30). Some of these sessions might also be offered in Shanghai (Dec 4-5), but the final session schedule was not available yet.
