For Crystal Reports, 2011, Open SQL drivers allow you to report on SAP database (transparent) tables, and InfoSet drivers that allow you to report in InfoSets, you may have connections set up for each box.  This can get confusing and crowded under "My Connections" in Database Expert.

I recommend renaming the connections.  Follow the steps below.

First go to File > New > Blank Report or Standard Report

We will create a new connection

Double click on Make New Connection

Select desired SAP ERP system and log in

Right Click > Options and enter desired table

My example is looking for a custom table labeled ZFI_OPS%

Now you can follow the normal steps to continue creating the report.

But if you make too many connections, it gets crowded at the top under My Connections

So what I like to do is rename the connections for each type of driver – InfoSets, tables, and for each box.

Right click->Rename Connection

In my example I renamed it to Training tables
