Getting started with developing on SAP HANA is not difficult, as SAP provides good introductory classes that have been taught to thousands of developers already. The next step is to increase your practical experience through more complex and challenging exercises.
As leading consulting companies on SAP HANA Glooobal and FIVE1 today announced a broad partnership. Both want to continue jointly offer advanced training on SAP HANA. GLOOOBAL, an SAP Partner in the area of SAP HANA has created “Get your Hands-on IT for SAP HANA clinics”, allowing you to expand your hands-on experience with this exciting new technology. The clinics are building on the skills taught in SAP's classes like TZHANA.
Get your Hands-on IT for SAP HANA clinics will be offered in English and German language. In the near future the offer will be extended by adding additional languages. FIVE1 will conduct the training for the German speaking area and Glooobal for the English speaking area in Europe. The offer is aimed at graduates of the SAP's own course TZHANA or ambitious beginners that have some practical experience in the SAP HANA Studio. Our approach is called "Hands-On", i.e. they work out the solutions provided in the HANA system itself. The training ranges from the modeling of complex Calculation Views using SQL Script and R to the front-end programming with the HANA XS engine and HTML5 frameworks like the HANA UI Toolkit. The Fuzzy Search on unstructured data such as PDF documents completes the offer.
The training will be offered primarily as an online course. A qualified SAP HANA expert accompanied the participants two full days through the exercises. SAP HANA Clinics are limited to 12 participants to ensure that you get the attention you deserve. The connection to the trainer is established via a WebEx session. The participants will connect via a remote desktop client to a preinstalled windows environment with an already installed and configured SAP HANA Studio. This ensures that all participants have the same environment and do not waste valuable training time for the installation of software and setting up the training environment. The training system contains a data model with more than 50 million records of real world data. All the training materials and the sample solutions are stored in SAP StreamWork. If participants can’t solve the exercise or they are not sure if they have a proper solution for the exercise they have the opportunity to access the training environment for five additional days after the end of the training. In this time period the participants can continue on solving the exercises or can check the sample solution.
