ESS/MSS/HR Admin and everything else, on mobile

Ok, so I expect this to be quite an interesting post.  A few weeks (maybe months ago) I downloaded an app off the app store called Kairos Enterprise.  It touts being able to mobilize your existing ABAP Web Dynpro’s.  I did a blog post on it and sat on it for a while since I was pretty busy.  So here we go, picking it up again.

Besides saying this “Mobilizes your existing Web Dynpro ABAP applications”, I guess the only other important point is you can connect this to your existing SAP system for free. I was able to hook this up to my own SAP server after just a few simple steps.  Not only was I able to mobilize SAP’s existing applications but all of my custom developed apps were there too.  So now  I can do mobile without the needing to learn any new technology, that’s nice.

I’ll do a follow up blog with the steps I took to connect to my own SAP system in the next couple days.  Still need to play around with this a bit more.

The app is free, I downloaded it from Be curious to hear feedback from others who have played with it. Here are some screens from connecting to our SAP sandbox and using the sample connection.

      Hi Laura,

I downloaded the Kairos enteprise app from the store for iOS.  I then stepped through the process defined in their configuration document which they seem to have posted online:

After that, I was up and running.  I did run into some issues and reached out to them, got back to me in a few hours.

If you have any issues let me know I might be able to help!  Good luck, it's pretty cool once you get it set up.
