After having SAP Inside Track India for the last two years successfully and last year even bigger simultaneously in two cities (Bangalore & Kolkata) and involving SAP Mentors across the globe, it’s time again to plan and make SIT India 2012 happen. As usual I have created a small survey (which will not take more than 2 minutes to answer) to collect the opinion and feedback of the community and accordingly we can plan it. I already posted the link sometime back in the SAP Inside Track India Facebook group and got a few responses. But to plan it well and make it happen we need lot more participation and suggestions from each one of you. Based on the feedback from last year SIT and the discussions I had with some of the fellow community members and in the Facebook community I feel we can even make it bigger and engage more people from the Indian SAP community.
Couple of points I like to mention which I suggest each one of you to think while responding to the survey – we want to spread to more cities in India this time, so if you have few like-minded people in your area and can think can host the event please suggest so. What you need to host the event is a venue (which can be a office meeting/training room or a hall which can accommodate around 30-50 people. You need an internet connection, a laptop, a projector and a white-board for the sessions. Food and refreshments can be arranged by a token registration fee (INR 150-250) per attendee. Also do consider presenting a session on the event on any topic around SAP or general which you think might be interesting for the community. Please remember this is an event organized by the local community members like you and me and not by an organization. So unless we come forward and actively participate it’ll never be successful.
If you have not attended this event before do read the blog posts from some of the community members who have attended last year’s event, which will give you an idea how much fun and how valuable the experience can be.
