SAP Quick Output Assessment turns your troubles and gut feelings into hard facts. This new service analyzes your printing landscape based on real data. The report which can be requested below enables you to start exploring your options to reduce administration efforts or increase IT efficiency.

Scope

With SAP Quick Output Assessment you can analyze your existing printing landscape. Based on a system-wide analysis of print related data an interactive results report will show you the

  • systems overall performance / complexity level
  • It will furthermore give you detailed statistics of e.g.
    • Installed devices, device types and
    • Utilization per printer in time
    • Device duplicates
    • Access methods

Prerequisites

Release: SAP System with SAP NetWeaver ABAP 7.00 or higher.

Sufficient system and authorizations to

  • import ABAPworkbench transports
  • run or schedule reports.

Step by step instructions

Please follow the step-by-step description. The effort on your side is limited and will take you little time. We will send you the results via email within one week after receiving your request. In case of questions please feel free to contact us at outputfactory@sap.com.

We will send you an ABAP Report that you have to import into the system you would like to check (usually a productive system). This report creates XML-Files that you simply send back to the Output Factory team.

After that, you will receive a dashboard like the one for the screenshots and a short report on the results.
