Greetings SAP Community,

Greg Myers, Eric Vallo, Kristen Scheffler, and myself are looking forward to Mentor Monday on August 13 when we get to speak with the SAP Community about our Outside In initiative.  In order to help pound the pavement, make sure all of you attend,  and provide feedback to the Survey on the topic I figured I would hit the virtual bricks to pub it!

For starters consider this a companion piece to Greg’s inspiring Blog on the topic which stemmed from him passionately telling us about ourselves and our BI4 Product! Done in a professional and savvy manner to say the least and the seed from where this idea sprouted.

From an SAP Community perspective we have 2 goals for this initiative:

1) OUTSIDE IN – Nice catch phrase but what does it mean? Simply put we want the Community to help define the BI4, SAP, and Analytics topics you want to hear about and be transparent with how we achieve this.  To do that we need your feedback because NO ONE KNOWS IT BETTER! Or you can just be at the mercy of whatever it is our little heart’s desire to topic.  Interesting enough but if we work together we can magnify the value!

So please read Greg’s Blog, share it, and take our Survey – your vote will count and there will be no hanging chad’s here! 😎

2) BI4 ENLIGHTENED ERROR MESSAGES – One of Greg’s initial pain points was BI4 Error Messages.   While an improve from XI3 we know we are not done yet.  How many of you know about the PDF below which contains the compendium of BI4 Error messages? How can we improve it? How can we influence the Product? To be clear Greg did not know this existed and to me if one of our best and brightest SAP Mentor’s isn’t aware then there is a strong chance few are.

That is all for a Sunday and I better get back to building a nursery! For you we hope to see you at Mentor Monday and make sure you take the Survey!

Thanks,

Chris
