At the international congress and exhibition "Electronic Goes Green 2012+" organized by Fraunhofer IZM and Technical University Berlin, topics around electronics and environment will be broadly discussed.  The renowned event recurring every four years will take place in Berlin on September 9 -12, 2012.

Under the slogan, “Taking Green to the Next Level”, the program will feature exciting new approaches in green IT, life-cycle engineering, new technologies and all the latest issues in legislation and regulation, corporate social responsibility and managing critical resources and sustainability.  Leading technology experts and eco-designers will meet for four days of lectures, workshops and networking on these ever more important topics.  The congress will include an exhibition of best practice products, where participants can get a hands-on look at all the latest in green technology and have a chance to meet with the developers and manufacturers of tomorrow’s technology today.

The event will build on the success of the last three “Electronics Goes Green” Conferences in 2000, 2004 and 2008, which were all attended by over 500 participants. Particularly exciting was the international character of the event –participants from over 35 different countries registered for the last conference. The organizers plan to seize this opportunity at Electronics Goes Green 2012 by including a special forum for scientific and educational exchange with emerging economies.

SAP will announce and showcase key new solutions for product related environmental protection during two presentations and the exhibition. Torger Trenner, Environmental Manager at Weidmüller and Dr. Stefan Feickert, Product Manager at SAP, will present on collaborating with suppliers on product compliance and Prof. Dr. Martin Hill, Head of Center of Excellence Sustainability EMEA at SAP, will answer your questions at the poster session on steps and processes to realize sustainability strategies.

SAP would like to recommend this congress to you and would be delighted to meet with you during the conference or at our booth number 12 in the exhibition area.  We are very much looking forward to sharing the latest trends and best practices on how to efficiently manage the WEEE Recast, RoHS, REACH, LCA, PLM, energy consumption and other topics relevant for electronics manufacturing.

Join hundreds of participants from industry, academia, NGOs and politics in Berlin, Germany, from September 9 to 12, 2012 for the premier conference on the intersection between electronics and the environment.
