Some of blog readers may know tag cloud. But I want to paste meaning of tag cloud from Wikipedia.

"A tag cloud (word cloud, or weighted list in visual design) is a visual representation for text data, typically used to depict keyword metadata (tags) on websites, or to visualize free form text. 'Tags' are usually single words, and the importance of each tag is shown with font size or color.[1] This format is useful for quickly perceiving the most prominent terms and for locating a term alphabetically to determine its relative prominence. When used as website navigation aids, the terms are hyperlinked to items associated with the tag."

And this feature is present in SAP HANA Studio. You can use it with views (Attribute Views, Analytics Views and Calculation Views). It is very simple to use it. So I will demonstrate how to do this.

I will not tell you how to create a new Attribute View. Here is my attribute view:

It is very simple. I joined VBAK(Sales Documents Header) and KNA1(General Data in Customer). So I can view sales data and which belongs to customer.

Now we can look at data at attribute view:

As you see in screen shot there are only three fields; VBELN(Document Number), KUNNR(Customer Number) and NAME1(Customer Name). Now click on Analysis tab. Drag and drop NAME1 field into Labels Axis and VBELN field to Values Axis.

And now we are ready to see tag cloud. Select "Tag Cloud chart" chart type from dropdown. You can save tag cloud as image by clicking "Save as image" on the right side. Here is my tag cloud: (Based on IDES Data)

I hope it is useful for readers.
