Adding alert message in Xcelsius Dashboard Design

Information on how to add alert message while connection loads data in Xcelsius:

1. Under Data Manager go to Usage tab of desired connection. Insert 1 for Loading Message and 0 for Ideal Message in to excel cell (Say A1):

  2. Now using dynamic visibility on above cell A1, display alert message with the help of background and label component :

        a. Initially when dashboard has no data.

b. Click on Refresh button.

c. Enter user credentials and click on OK.

d. Notice that value of cell A1 changes to 1 and alert message appears.

e. Once data is retured.

  Note: Whenever connection triggers, 1 is inserted into cell A1 and as soon as value of cell A1 becomes 1 alert message (background and                    label component) will be displayed.
