1. Launch IDT.
2. Create New Project.
3. Create new Relational Connection.
4. Publish Connection to BIP repository.
5. Now the connection is published in BIP repository.
6. Goto CMC –> Connections The connection should be available there.
7. Now AO can consume HANA connections from BIP.
8. Insert –> Select Datasource –> Connect to BIP.
9. Added HANA connection should be available in the list.
Hi Bharat,
excellent blog.
All the best,
Andy.
Good step-by-step - thanks
Bharat,
Can you please confirm that you need HANA Client and Drivers on the BOBJ Server. inorder the BOBJ CMC Connection to connect to HANA Server
Regards,
Sri
Hi Srinivas,
No, You don't need a separate installation of HANA client if you are using BIP.
This comes as in-built.
Pre-Requisite is to have BIP 4.0 or above?

Bharath
