Adding Widgets to a particular business profile
Below are the Steps to be followed for Adding Widgets to a particular business profile.
Get the URL using google widgets.
Step 1: Using the below path IMG > CRM > UI Framework > UI Framework Definition -> Define Web Links
Step 2: Select Define Web Link and the enter the below details as per the screen shot. We can create any number of WEB Links.
Weblink ID : ZWIDGET001
Weblink Type : Widget Link
Give any Title & Description – Title given here will be displayed in UI
URL : <give the URL of the widget >
Step 3: After Defining the WEB Link create/define a Widget Group with the previously defined WEB Link.
WidgetID : ZWIDGP001
Any meaningful Description
Step 4: Now Assign Widget link created in step 2 to groups created in previous step.
You can assign any number of widgets to the widget group created.
Step 5: After defining the Web Link go to the Business Role where the widget (URL) need to be displayed.
Let us use SALESPRO for example.
Select the business role and Click Assign Function Profile-> New Entries
Function Profile ID : WIDGET_LINKS
Profile Value : <Widget Group created> ZWIDGP001
IN Web UI After Logon.
Click Personalize->Favorites->Personalize Widgets <opens new popup where you can select and remove widgets>
In Available Links you will find the widget create and you can move it to Displayed Links using Arrows and SAVE
In Home page u can configure the Assignment Blocks to add the widgets.
