For Minimal Basic Configuration for Collaboration follow below help Document
By Default collaboration launchpad you will get the below Collaboration options(services).
Not all Companies use all the services available in this Launchpad, this blog explains how to deactivate the unwanted services from Collaboration Launchpad.
Configuration to Collaboration Launchpad:
Logon to Portal and Go to – Content Administration -> Collaboration Content -> Collaboration Launch Pad Administration
Select Command Group, Here we need to change the command Groups according to our requirement
Step 1: Select clpGWGroup and duplicate it to ‘clpGWGroup_2′
Remove the command properties – ClpGWAppLink and clpGWshowAvaiLink and save it
we have removed the application Sharing and Show availability groups.
STEP 2: select clpSyncGroup and Duplicate it
remove ‘clpSyncAppSharingLink’ and ‘clpSyncWebExlink’ from selected Command Properties.
STEP 3: Open Command Group ‘Clbgroup‘ and duplicate it.
Remove all default command Properties and assign above two customized Groups as Command Properties
Added clpSyncGroup_2 and clpGWGroup_2 to main Group CommandProperties i.e, clpGroup_2
STEP 4: So upto now modifying the groups according to our requirements is completed, now we need to activate this group :clpGroup_2
To Activate go to – Content Administration -> Collaboration Content -> Collaboration Launch Pad Administration – Types
select clpType and edit it,
select ClpGroup_2 from dropdown in the property contextmenu_commandgroup as shown below.
Click on Apply and Ok, Now we activated the clpGroup_2 for collaboration launchpad, i.e Options are changed.
Refresh the browser and delete the Navigation Caches in Portal. Now the Customized collaboration Services are Visible
We can do more customization to the groups and enable/disable options in the Collaboration Launch Pad.
