The CISUG Manufacturing working group held its first working session in its project to analyze maintenance and reliability KPI’s and industry standards (e.g. SMRP), The objective is to identify the top KPI’s for use and recommended methods of implementation for the chemical industry. The initial goal is to identify the top 20 KPI’s required to enhance the reliability of assets and instruments. This project will generate approximately 10 KPI’s per year, along with the methods of calculation and implementation. At this meeting we had a quick review of the standards and recommendations in ISO 14224, API RP 754, ISA TR84.00.04 Appendix R and started the discussion on how various companies use the EAM Notifications and
orders.
