Checking out the latest the Crystal Reports Viewer

I noticed on the Software Distribution Center (service.sap.com/swdc) that there was a new Crystal Viewer. 

I downloaded it and it looks very different from previous viewers.

The first screen in Figure 1 looks a lot like Crystal Reports for Enterprise start-up screen:

Next, check out the Templates tab for sample reports.  On several webcasts, SAP has stated they do not want you starting out with a “blank slate”.

Figure 3 shows you can select the Most Downloaded Templates, Featured Templates, Recently Added Templates, Highest Rated templates

I opened the Cheque template and notice it has continuous scrolling, not the page by page scrolling

Another nice feature is the “Find” feature, the binoculars in Figure 5.  You can search the report

      Great find!

      Any clue what the naming convention/version number of this new viewer could be?

      Or is it just called SAP Crystal Reports Viewer?

      On the SWDC it is called "Crystal Reports 2011 FP3"
