How to recover Analysis Add-in in SBOP Analysis, edition for Microsoft Office?

On rare occasions, Analysis Add-in might get disabled.

This can be due to several reasons. Excel crash, unexpected closure of document etc.

Microsoft Excel detects such crashes and automatically disables Analysis add-in.

In suchcases, you can follow the below steps to recover Analysis add-in.

  1. Launch Excel or Analysis Office.
  2. Goto Office --> Excel Options
  3. Goto Add-Ins.
  4. Select Disabled Items from the Manage dropdown.
  5. Click on GO button.
  6. Select Analysis Add-in and click on Enable button.
  7. Select COM Add-Ins from the Manage dropdown.
  8. Click on GO button.
  9. Select the checkbox Analysis.
  10. Click on OK button.
  11. Hurray! Analysis Add-In is back.


What to do when Analysis Add-In is inactive?:

In case the Analysis add is inactive

  1. Goto Office --> Excel Options
  2. Goto Add-Ins.
  3. Select Analysis from the list of inactive application add-ins.
  4. Select COM Add-Ins from the dropdown and click on go.

5. Select Analysis from the list and click on OK.

6. Now Analysis add-in will be active and available in the ribbon menu.
