Concerns from US personnel department regarding manager’s authorisations
We have SAP HCM live in the U.S. and we want to give the managers there a couple of reports and PA20 in order to give them the chance to see certain information about their employees.
Our personnel department now has doubts if it is legal to give manager’s authorisation on infotype 0002 that includes the birth date and the gender of the employee.
I would now like to know from other companies about the best practice they do with their installation.
Do you give the manager’s authorisations or just modify or customizt the screen for the managers.
To be consequent this would mean also changes in:
– search helps
– screens in other transactions.
Is there no chance to work around that issue?
