CRM is getting social and eco-system ready… in the cloud – June release is available

With the General availability of SAP Customer OnDemand June 2012 release, there are massive enhancements that are available now – all based on customer and partner co-innovation and design-thinking. What an amazing acceleration of development and applying our new “every quarter a release”  approach we saw fast iterations on existing scope and additional areas covered.

Thanks to all the customers and partners that supported us, and kudos to the team!

The  Customer OnDemand team confirmed Friday that the SAP Customer OnDemand June 2012 release is generally available! As of this release, we have the following solutions available:

• SAP Sales OnDemand
• SAP Sales OnDemand, cloud integration option (to SAP ERP and SAP CRM)
• SAP Social Customer Engagement OnDemand
• SAP Social Media Analytics by Netbase
• SAP Cloud Developer Studio

Information on what´s new is available via Service marketplace , some highlights below:

• SAP Sales OD  - Addition of a new 360 overview for accounts, marketing features and integration from Third-Party solutions
• Integration capabilities enhancements for SAP ERP and SAP CRM – Addition of integration capabilities with more objects and additional bi-directional synchronization
• SAP Social Customer Engagement OnDemand – Enhancements in E-Mail and Chat to Ticketing process, collaboration and integration of social channles
• SAP Social Media Analytics by Netbase
• SAP Cloud Developer Studio – Solution Development Kit (SDK) for customers and partners

To enable customers and partners to enhance the solution, a new milestone via the Cloud Developer Studio has been made available. A major milestone in our roadmap. Please navigate to the service marketplace to access detailed documentation to better understand the solution offering. The respective documentation for SAP Cloud Developer Studio will be available soon. Enablement for the June 2012 release will start in second half of July, via the Value University – stay tuned for more details on dates and times.
