SAP POS User Group will descend upon Toronto Summer 2012

The SAP POS User Group will be meeting again in Toronto, Canada on July 23rd and 24th for a one and a half day event to discuss current trends, share ideas with colleagues and to get an understanding of what’s new at SAP in the world of Retail. This will be our largest POS user group meeting to date and will include over 40 representatives from customers, partners and SAP from all around North and Latin America.

Day 1 will include presentations on what has been happening with our latest release of SAP POS 2.3 and some of the market penetration we have experienced with the new capabilities of this release. One of our customers will also present on how they are working through their implementation of 2.3 and how other customers can take advantage of the new capabilities. SAP will also share some of our strategic investments around new Support and Diagnostic capabilities as well as Strategic Investments in Retail through HANA, Mobility and Cloud. We also plan to have a Guest Speaker from ACT Canada, where they will explain the impacts of EMV (Europay, MasterCard, Visa) coming to the US market in 2015 and some areas to be prepared for.

Day 2 will include a presentation from Active Global Support (AGS) on Standard and Enterprise Support and following this will be our Retail Roadmap from SAP. We will finish off early afternoon with a presentation from our partner Agilysys on Mobile POS on iOS and Android devices.

If your company has deployed SAP POS and would be interested in attending this event, we would welcome the opportunity to provide further details and logistics for you to join us.
