SAP CodeJam Stuttgart

Very recently leadership at SAP has continued to express the desire to put our developers together with those of our partners and customers as we did in the beginning 40 years ago and get back to our roots of innovation! Taking a further step in that direction we’ve decided it’s time to rekindle the infamous Hacker Night from years past into a whole new format called the CodeJam! So bring your laptop and come join your fellow developers — it’s time to code, hack and create!

      Hi Craig,

would you suggest to take a hotel? Is there a planned evening event?

      Best regards

      Gregor

Starting at 1pm we always plan for a good 6 hrs putting us at 7pm. There is nothing official planned for after the event however I'm always up for the unofficial meetup afterwards 🙂

I'll come down via train most likely and if there are enough wanting to hang out afterwards then I'd probably go for a hotel even though it is only an hour train ride for me.

As in our fridge is always enough beer and even our regular after work events end usually quite late it's at least a good idea to take the train. As we are in the city center of Stuttgart (10 minutes walk to the central station) there are enough options for a meetup afterwards.

er... can someone explain what this event actually is to one who has never visited a Hacker Night?

The idea behind the events are rather simple, it's a chance for developers from customers, partners and SAP to come together in a causal environment around a specific development topic and discuss it over food, drinks and of course live systems and the chance to try out that technology.
