I had the pleasure to represent SAP at the Sustainable IT congress in Brussels organized by the European Commission 3rd of May. I was invited to join a challenging 90 minutes panel discussion on how IT can contibute to the carbon reduction targets of the EU (reduce 20% carbon by 2020). The congress was opened by Neelie Kroes, Commission Vice-President and Günther Oettinger, Commissioner for Energy.

There were speakers from well known other companies like Ericson, Orange, Hitachi and others who presented the contribution of their companies and discussed the future of Sustainable ICT.
