In the innovative project Sentiment Analysis powered by SAP HANA 2012 students from the University of Ludwigshafen collaborated with SAP UA. The goal was the analyses of unstructured data of the social networks Facebook and Twitter. The project was a big success and excellent opportunity for the students to work directly with the newest technology HANA. This was done with a great amount of motivation by the students from the master course information systems during their 2012 summer semester. Students will present the results during the SAP Academic Conference EMEA in Dresden in September, future projects with the University of Applied Sciences Ludwigshafen in the area of new technologies are planned.
