As a sourcing or a procurement professional, we come across terms like Sourcing, Contracts, and spend on a routine basis and any webcast feels the same as the information feels redundant.

To kill the redundancy, you should make an active effort to identify some of those key presentations that definitely have a lot of thought leadership that you can easily decipher and re-use in your routines.

I attended one such webcast today hosted by My Purchasing Center, sponsored by SAP, and great content sharing and demonstration from folks from Aberdeen Spend Management group.

@Sap_Procurement & I also went on tweeting some of the very important messages from this webcast for folks in the busy enterprise world that could at-least tune in via social platforms – Twitter.

emily.rakowski from SAP is always a great person to tune into. Today’s gig had some great insights from her on the direction of the strategic sourcing 2.0 focus on how to get going managing an effective sourcing program.

Constantine Limberakis, a senior analyst in the Global Supply Management practice at Aberdeen, presented as well. Constantine examines how procurement organizations are utilizing technology and streamlining “source to pay” processes in the areas of strategic sourcing, purchasing, contract management, invoicing, and supplier management.
