SAP GUI window title – Display SAP screen on windows 7

SAP GUI window title  – Display screen on windows 7

In Microsoft Windows 7 I noticed the problem on the display screen of the SAP GUI

In the taskbar when mouse pointer is on the SAP icon I can see which system is opened

You can see in picture 1.0 the system SID Client is missing

In this picture you can see we have the SID, client

Fix this issue:

For fix this issue you need to go to the regedit in your windows system

Navigate to: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SAP\SAPGUI Front\SAP Frontend Server\\Administration]

And add the value as DWORD “ShowAdditionalTitleInFo” entry with the value 1

The value is occupied with 0 by default.

Close all the sap GUI Windows and check again

SAP Note:

SAP Note 757964 – Additional information in the SAP GUI windows title

Best regards

Naor

Any way to move the SAP GUI window title lcation so it right justifies and then make it static or delay the auto hide feature.

      Cheers

      Hi Naor,

If you have SAPGUI 7.30 there is an option for it:

SAP GUI options -> Interaction Design -> Visualization 2 -> Show additional information in the SAP GUI window title

      Regards,

      Vasilis
