June 20, 2012: Celebrate the Eclipse Juno release at the Eclipse DemoCamp in Walldorf

“SAP and Eclipse” has become a success story over the past years.

On the one hand Eclipse technology plays a major role in SAP’s technology stack. Starting with the Eclipse IDE as the platform for SAP’s Java tools as far back as 2001, Eclipse components have since long found their way into the core of SAP’s Java runtime stack. For example, the runtime of SAP NetWeaver Cloud is based on Eclipse Equinox.

On the other hand, SAP is not only using Eclipse technology but actively contributes to many Eclipse projects, among them Gemini, Virgo, or Skalli.

Since 2009, we have been celebrating each annual Eclipse release with a DemoCamp and a Happy Hour in Walldorf. This is the place to show cool stuff that you have built in or on Eclipse, and to watch what others present. And of course, to enjoy a beer or two at the barbecue after the work is done. Take a look at the pictures from the 2010 and 2011 DemoCamps.

So join us on June 20th, 2012, here in Walldorf, On our Wiki page you find all relevant information. There are already interesting submissions on the tentative agenda. But we are happy about each and every cool demo that is submitted.

Looking forward to seeing you in Walldorf!
