All the Top Reasons Why Current  Retail SAP Customers and Users Should Attend this Forum

The maturity and dedicated groundwork of the SAF User Forum has evolved into the SAP Forecasting and Replenishment Day-and-a-Half Forum, which will be hosted this year in the highly relaxing atmosphere of Boston Harbor and the Seaport Hotel  on June 26th and 27th. This special location provides a unique place and time for SAP retail customers and users to gather and network with retail leaders, future SAP retail customers, and the SAP forecasting and replenishment team consisting of F&R solution and technology experts.

Standing behind the success of the SAF User Forums is a history of increasing growth and effectiveness year after year. With that heritage behind it, this year’s SAP Forecasting and Replenishment User Forum promises more reasons than ever for SAP retail customers to be in attendance. If you are an SAP retail customer or user, here are all the reasons why you should be there – and it’s open registration, which means it’s free!

Leverage Your F&R Investment, Network with Your Peers, and Have a Good Time

The top three reasons for you to attend the forum begin, first and foremost, with a one-of-a-kind opportunity to learn about the latest best practices for leveraging and optimizing your current investment in your forecasting and replenishment solution from SAP.

Second, it is the most ideal time of the year to come together to collaborate with peers in your industry that have already implemented their forecasting and replenishment solution – including industry leaders who run the largest retail demand chains in the world. Filled with your own questions and surrounded by the people who know the answers, you can help determine the further actions and activities you need to take with your solution to derive further benefit out of the investment that you’ve already made. To help you determine what you need to do to achieve your F&R goals, you will get to meet and hear, firsthand, from SAP current and future customers and retail companies of many sizes about the forecasting and replenishment challenges they faced and solved.

And number three, you’ll get to spend one-and-a-half wonderful days in Boston, go on a fantastic dinner cruise, and relax as you learn a tremendous amount of things about computer-generated orders and automated replenishment.

Meet F&R Customers Fact-to-Face

Most, if not all of, the SAP F&R customers who started with store-level replenishment had great success with it, and many of them have completed that phase of the project. You will meet these customers at the forum, who are now moving on to the next logical phase of the project – auto-replenishment at the distribution center. By attending the conference, you’ll learn what these current customers, who have already embarked on their F&R journey, are doing now, what challenges they are facing, and how they will resolve the challenges in their auto-replenishment initiatives?

The chance to network with your peers and leverage your F&R solution investment – all while an environment made for a great forum surrounds you – only kicks off the reasons SAP F&R customers should be guests of the forum in Boston this June.

Meet the Master of F&R: Dr. Stephan Kolassa, SAP Research and Innovation

Another no-miss attraction at the forum this year is Dr. Stephan Kolassa, industry leader in the development of advanced forecasting techniques and a frequent contributor to forecasting and replenishment forums. He is the chief mathematician at SAF responsible for all of the internal engine functionality. Dr. Kolassa is a world-class mathematician who sits on several boards of forecasting organizations world-wide and publishes frequently in forecasting journals. He is a clear expert on the do’s and don’ts of forecasting, and at the forum, he can recommend not only why you should do certain things, but why you shouldn’t do other things you may consider important, but really aren’t.
