Today is the last day of SAPPHIRE NOW and ASUG Annual Conference in Orlando. Over the past few days some of my support colleagues and I have had the opportunity to talk to some of the leading analysts. Of course there are lots of analysts attending the event to get informed about SAP’s latest innovations, e.g. SAP HANA and Mobility. But what about our support services? We were keen in finding out if the analysts are interested in this not-soooo-hip topic as well. And what about our latest support innovations like SAP ActiveEmbedded and the SAP Rapid Prototyping services? Have they heard about this at all?

Actually the analysts we’ve spoken to during the last couple of days were indeed very interested in our support program. Most of them have noticed the launch of the new services like SAP ActiveEmbedded. They also confirmed that business continuity is one of the key priorities for the customers which can be ensured with the help of our main offering which is SAP Enterprise Support. But the analysts also agreed that there are definitely many customers out there that even have more advanced requirements, such as having dedicated SAP experts available full-time at the customer’s site. Capabilities like this are included in our premium engagements such as SAP MaxAttention and SAP ActiveEmbedded.

Btw there is a great new customer testimonial video from Procter & Gamble available which is one of our SAP MaxAttention clients. Check out this video to hear how one of the largest consumer packaged goods company in the world implemented SAP NetWeaver Portal to provide its employees, customers, and suppliers with a convenient, single-point of access for their business applications. In this case SAP MaxAttention helped to roll out the system to 90,000 users in a matter of 18 months.
