Feed Updates iPad Application


Stay in the collaboration loop from wherever you are so that you can shorten business cycles and drive the results that help your bottom line. SAP StreamWork has introduced its first iPad application called Feed Updates, which will help you stay informed with what’s going on in your organization and enable you to respond accordingly.

You can stay connected to your business processes, and keep in-touch with the SAP StreamWork Feed Updates app by being able to see activity changes, mentions, and status updates from the people in your organization that you manage, collaborate with or follow.


The Feed Updates app helps increase accountability by improving visibility of the work that is done within your organization. While on-the-go you can see the way that work is accomplished within activities that your team or organization is responsible for finishing.


Stay on top of the information that is most pertinent to your business objectives by interacting with tools (such as visualizations, decision items, text items and so on) that are posted within activities.


With Feed Updates, you can keep your team members informed by posting status and activity updates, adding comments to tools, and assigning Tasks.

Imagine you are the vice president of sales for a global niche manufacturing company. You work with a team of sales representatives who are your direct reports. You want to monitor their work to assure that they follow best-practice techniques throughout the sales process, have proper support when an issue with a customer is escalated, and keep record of their sales history.

You have SAP CRM to help you keep track of and assign sales opportunities to teams or individuals within your organization. With the SAP StreamWork integration in SAP CRM, you can seamlessly collaborate around these sales opportunities to effectively close deals by creating activities directly from the sales opportunity.


You want to streamline the sales process and ensure the quality of contact with each of your customers to maximize the time of your sales reps. To do this, before initiating contact with customers, your sales reps create SAP StreamWork activities for internal-use from pre-defined sales templates that include best-practice material, such as your sales pitch, sales scripts, customer presentations, competitive analysis, text tool, and a discussion tool.

You are interested in ensuring the quality of each of the sales interactions and you want to be kept up-to-speed on what’s happening. All of the information in the activity and feeds is saved and stored in SAP StreamWork for future reference.
