Alerts in Dashboards BI4 Feature Pack 3

This will walk you through the Alerts feature in BI4 Feature Pack 3 BI Dashboards

Start Dashboards

From the toolbar, click Import Spreadsheet

The data in the spreadsheet looks similar to the table below:

Connect spreadsheet table to range

Expand Selectors from Components tab

Drag the Spreadsheet Table to the canvas

Bind your data to the spreadsheet on the General tab – note this is the entire spreadsheet of data

Select Spreadsheet and click the Alerts tab

Click Show All columns checkbox

Bind the totals to the Alert values

Bind the target values to the As Percent of Target

Select the Alert column

Select  High values are good

Canvas/Preview should look like below depending on your colors/themes

      THanks Tammy. Trying to install FP3 and looking into dashboard features. This doc is helpful for me to learn fast.
