A new SAP Mentor’s HCM & Talent Management SAPPHIRE Session Selection
SAPPHIRE is fast approaching and is the biggest SAP conference of the year. SAP, partners, customers and SAP Mentors will be rubbing shoulders and expanding their knowledge of SAP, its products and what is going down in the SAP world. And with the recent SuccessFactors acquisition done and dusted, there will be a whole host of related information being released into the public domain for the first time.
As a new SAP Mentor – something I am honoured to have been appointed – I was delighted to get offered the opportunity to go to SAPPHIRE in Orlando. And could I turn it down? You betcha I couldn’t. So, I’ve booked my flights, dug out my party pants and gone through the agenda.
I thought I would share my choice of sessions for the event, to help those who haven’t yet planned their agendas or aren’t yet finished. Since my interests are in Talent Management and Nakisa, there is an obvious undertone in the sessions that I have chosen. However, despite my bias I tried to choose a broad selection of sessions that are worth attending, but the sheer volume of overlapping sessions makes it difficult to choose a small batch.

If Cloud is your thing then you should check out SAPPHIRE NOW Cloud Campus: 6 Sessions You Don’t Want to Miss by SAP’s Carolyn Brock which highlights 6 Cloud sessions that you should be attending. Four of the sessions that Carolyn mentioned are included in my list above.

Thanks for your comments Vasiliy. I'm sure that link is going to be useful for some people that can't attend. I might also be able to sit in a session and watch another session simultaneously 😉
While this is fairly rich, I really did struggle to find many HCM sessions that didn't cover Talent Management and/or SuccessFactors. I think I saw 1 or 2 Payroll sessions but nothing really on OM/PA or Time. While I'm not so interested in those, I'm sure there is a demand out there.
