Join Us for a Panel Discussion on Diversity at SapphireNow in Orlando!

SAP will host a diversity panel discussion and luncheon during SapphireNow & the ASUG Annual Conference in Orlando next week.

The organizers and panelists would love for you to attend, and for you to invite other customers and partners to join us if they’re interested in – or struggling with, or opinionated about – the topic: Diversity as an Untapped Competitive Advantage

Lunch and panel discussion on Wednesday, May 16th from 11:30am to 1:00pm.

Hilton Orlando (connected to the Orlando Convention Center).

Diversity continues to be a hot topic for corporations, organizations, and individuals as an element of competitive advantage and corporate culture.

Learn from other SAP customers how diversity of thought and perspective can produce positive business results.  Business leaders will share best practices highlighting diversity’s role as an engine for growth and innovation.

The  luncheon will consist of a panel of both male and female leadership including business, diversity, and HR leaders from Deloitte, Northrop Grumman, and Southwire, among others.

Four panelists confirmed:

  • Tanya Dance Kelly, Principal, Deloitte Consulting
  • Sheryl Fikse, CIO, Southwire
  • Tam Tran, Systems Integration, Northrop Grumman
  • Mark Yolton, SVP, Communities & Social Media, SAP
  • Moderated by Phyllis Stewart Pires, VP and Global Head of Diversity, SAP

Please join us for this great luncheon event (everyone is invited; this is NOT for women only).  We anticipate an exciting and lively panel, and we hope and expect this will be a value-add to their SAPPHIRE NOW experience.

Hi Bhanu: You’re right – a lot of the SapphireNow + ASUG Annual Conference will be broadcast live, both on our Facebook page ( or on the event site ( – but I don’t know about this special interest event.  I can imagine that it might not be, since there will be a panel discussion with audience interaction – and that will be difficult to properly video capture.  But I will ask the organizers.

We have an answer for Bhanu and others: Live streaming this activity was prohibitively expensive, so we won’t live-stream it.  However, we are planning to videotape the event and will make it available shortly afterwards — look for it on the SapphireNow platform on Friday sometime, along with other videos from SapphireNow in Orlando.

Thanks Annie,  I let them know that it wasn’t working at first and they seem to have addressed.  I appreciate your response here!
