Task lists are companions in many business applications as integration point for work delegation and self-organization. Yet, the true capabilities of task management in a computer environment have not yet been fully addressed: improved user support and transparency of time investment. To enable this, we log may create interaction histories for the users and integrate this detail with the task lists. Yet, we are able to propose related activities (guidance), calculate the time spent on a task (individual analytics) and improve task-specific resource access (retrieval). In this session we describe the concept of activity data,
the integration of activity data with tasks and how the resulted data can be used to bridge the gap between individual work organization and the interaction
with SAP business systems. For example, we show transaction proposals in an S2ELive system based on user activities or how a user can analyze his time
investment for a task. For this, we give hints to the access of interaction data in business systems and the operating system and present two prototypes
that are based on the described concepts.

Integration points with products:

– Anayltics of personal work

– Manage frequent tasks and related transactions within applications
