I recently had a chance to meet with the Services Marketing team in Newtown Square, PA (SAP’s HQ in the US). I’m new to the group so it was a really great learning experience for me to better understand the world of SAP Services.
Now before you disregard marketing folk, they do have an important role and perspective in the SAP Ecosystem. While the more technical folk can explain the real nitty gritty, sometimes it’s at a level that is beyond me, and perhaps beyond those of an average business user. Our team has the role of helping to translate the technical lingo into business value, and isn’t that the whole point of SAPPHIRE NOW –understanding how to get the most business value out of SAP?
I had a chance to talk with 2 great people from SAP Services. I’ll let you listen to what they have to say, but I encourage you to seek them out (they are both pretty tall so they should be easy to spot!) They are friendly, approachable and most important are very realistic about the pros & cons around today’s business challenges. I’ll let them do the talking.
