This Blog is about how to do the End-to End monitoring for IDoc related scenario running on Advance Adapter Engine in SAP PI 7.3 using IDOC_AAE adapter.

This Blog is high light what are the steps you should perform for Idoc monitoring. Using the message monitor you can search for IDoc messages processed with the IDoc adapter on the Advanced Adapter Engine. You can add various IDoc parameters to the search criteria to find only those messages in which you are interested

Prerequisities:

A role that contains one of the NWA_SUPERADMIN_PI_IDOC or NWA_READONLY_PI_IDOC actions is assigned to the user account you use to access the IDoc monitor. Examples of such roles are NWA_READONLY, NWA_SUPERADMIN, and Administrator.

Go to the SAP ECC system, and take the Idoc number you want to check the status in SAP PI 7.3 system

Go to Tcode: We02, to check the status from SAP ECC, whether Idoc has been sent to the PI or not.

Here the Idoc number is : 28014.

The status of the Idoc is green that means Idoc has been processed successfully from ECC.

Now go to SAP PI 7.3 (Access the IDoc monitor by using the URL http://[host]:[port]/pimon)

Go to Monitoring-> Adapter Engine

Click on the Idoc Monitoring link

Click on the Advanced button on the right hand side and provide the Idoc Number and Click on Go botton

On the Bottom of the Page you can find the details of the Idoc.

Idoc Message Details

To see the end-to-end status of the message, click on the XI message Number, and new screen will open

In the Message List it shows the end status of the message.

Here in different tabs you can find all the required information about the message.

In this manner Idoc monitorig can be performed in PI 7.3 for AAE.
