Are you a Procurement professional who is considering attending this year’s SAPPHIRE NOW event, but are unsure if there will be enough content to fill your agenda? Good news - there definitely is!

There are a lot of exciting things happening within our Procurement portfolio of applications that we’re looking forward to sharing with you at SAPPHIRE within the Run Better Campus and Cloud Campuses. Witness customer presentations, live solution demos in our theaters, and take part in focused Micro Forum discussions. Networking opportunities abound, as well.

Don’t just take our word on our developments; hear from our successful customers. There is nothing better than to learn directly from customers about the value they’re deriving from their SAP solutions. Newell Rubbermaid will be sharing how they have transformed their Procurement organization leveraging SAP SRM, SAP Sourcing, and SAP BusinessObjects Spend Performance Management. Petronect will share how they have driven down cost savings and improved supplier collaboration using SAP SRM and SAP Supplier Self Service across a huge number of employees and suppliers. United Utilities will share their success driving savings with the SAP Sourcing OnDemand solution.

We’ll also have a customer panel discussion showcasing strong stories that range across our portfolio and partner ecosystem. CONSOL Energy will share their success managing spending via SAP SRM in the Hubwoo cloud. Colgate Palmolive will share their story gaining spend visibility, sourcing efficiency and P2P excellence with several SAP solutions. Levi Strauss & Company will share their success managing sourcing and contracts with SAP Sourcing OnDemand.

This year, SAPPHIRE will feature a valuable new addition - a solution demo theater. Here, you can attend a live 20-minute solution demo featuring an innovative area in our portfolio. For Procurement, you can witness firsthand the enhancements in SAP SRM, where we’ll be unveiling a brand new user interface for self-service procurement, and showcasing mobile apps. You will be introduced to a new solution, SAP Supplier Lifecycle Management, which helps you to cultivate strong supplier partnerships. In addition, you will see what’s new in our spend analysis, sourcing, and contract management solution areas.

Micro Forums are more intimate discussions that are led by a combination of customers, SAP experts, and partners on a specific topic. For Procurement, we’ll have SAP SRM, SAP Sourcing, and SAP Contract Lifecycle Management customers lead discussions around the best practice strategies that have garnered them success. Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) and Deloitte will lead a focused discussion around their SAP SRM upgrade project including common pitfalls to avoid, as well as the benefits of the latest innovations from SAP. Royal Bank of Canada and Hubwoo will share a joint case study regarding SAP SRM in the Hubwoo cloud.

At our ASUG user conference, co-located with SAPPHIRE NOW, we also have a full agenda of customer and SAP expert speakers. Interested in learning more about how customers have generated success with the SAP Sourcing solution? Then be sure to attend the customer sessions by H.J. Heinz, Purdue Pharma, and DuPont. If SAP SRM is a focus area for you, then attend the sessions from Baker Hughes, Raytheon, INVISTA, Southern California Edison, and DuPont. In addition, Newell Rubbermaid will share their success generating greater spend insight leveraging the SAP Spend Performance Management solution.

And of course many of the SAP employees who are focused on our Procurement solutions will be on hand to discuss your situation, demonstrate possible solutions, connect you with other customers, and recommend next steps for you and your team.

SAPPHIRE NOW and ASUG are events designed to connect you to the necessary information and resources. The right customers, the right SAP solution experts, and the right SAP partners that you need to better do your job and continue on your Procurement transformation journey.

I look forward to seeing you in Orlando!

Emily and the SAP Procurement Solutions Team
