On behalf of the Dubai School of Government and SAP Middle East and North Africa I would like to invite you to the take part in the survey to examine the usage of social media in the Arab world. The non Arab-world input for the survey will be used to compare the pure Arab-world results. This will enrich their research. Hence your contribution (wherever you are located) will be highly appreciated! We also invite/encourage you to distribute the survey within your institute.   Please find more info of this survey below:

Social Media, Youth and Entrepreneurship  Throughout the past year, innovative uses of social media and technologies have contributed to disrupting the ‘governance as usual’ models in the Arab region. They also promise to change the ‘business as usual’ models and shape new developmental and economic horizons. Measuring perceptions of the impact of social networking technologies on youth economic empowerment, employment and entrepreneurship will allow for a better understanding of the emerging opportunities and risks that social media poses for policy, business development and economic growth in the Arab region.

As such, we would like to invite you to take part in a survey to examine the usage of social media in the Arab world; specifically perceptions about its impact on job creation, employment and entrepreneurship. The data collected will be part of a special regional report by the Dubai School of Government’s Governance and Innovation Program and SAP Middle East & North Africa (MENA) on social media, youth and entrepreneurship in the Arab world.

Dubai School of Government is a research and teaching institution focusing on promoting good governance through enhancing the Arab regions capacity for effective public policy. The Dubai School of Government’s Governance and Innovation Program also produces The Arab Social Media Report; a recurring publication produced by analyzing social media usage and trends in the Arab region.

The survey can be accessed in English via the link below:   http://asmr4-en.questionpro.com/

In appreciation of your time, the final results of this survey will be shared with you through email and you will receive information on future research, publications and events taking place in DSG (optional).   All information you provide will be strictly confidential and will only be used for statistical and research purposes.

Thank you for taking part.
