It is important to note that social media for IT professionals is only in its infancy and is going to continue to grow in popularity and importance. I have seen firsthand the value that Twitter can bring and over the past 18 months have written several articles including:

Five Ways Twitter will Help your SAP Career

How to find and follow SAP Content on Twitter

Value for SAP Customers to start using Twitter

Twitter and SAP – Whats in it for You

10 SAP HCM people to follow on Twitter

12 Enterprise Software Analysts to follow on Twitter

11 SAP Executives to Follow on Twitter

How Twitter Helped me become a SAP Mentor

My goal at the start of this blog was to include ten people but could only find eight that met my criteria for a recommendation. That said I would expect we will see more people from SuccessFactors start contributing on social media in the coming year especially given how many from the SAP leadership ranks are engaged and look forward to updating my article.  Let me know your thoughts and who I may have missed.

Thanks for the comment and kind words Jyoti as I have seen first had the value that social media can bring IT professionals so trying to spread the word.

Even though you might feel you are "late" to the game and have to play catch up you are actually early in the whole scheme of things and would be curious if you could report back in a few months on your experiences and if you got value out of it.
