The University Alliances Americas team wishes to give a special thanks to each of the professors who led workshops for us this summer. We appreciate all the hard work that went into making their sessions a success. A thanks goes out to: Gilbert Babin, Lorraine Gardiner, Dave Haseman, Ross Hightower, Nancy Jones, Nitin Kalé, Pierre-Majorique Leger, Simha Magal, Jacques Robert, Bret Wagner, and Tom Wilder.

The Americas UCCs at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and California State University, Chico provided systems and technical support for all three events. Thank you to our Americas UCCs!

We also want to express our appreciation to the teams at HEC Montreal, CSU, Chico, and UW-Milwaukee for all their hard work! It is a significant effort to host our group of professors attending workshops – coordinating logistics, catering, copies, supporting us with internet access / systems connectivity, parking, hotels …. the list goes on and on.

Our workshops are truly a community effort — thanks to all that contributed to these successful events!

We encourage you to utilize the resources in the University Alliances library to learn more about SAP on your own.  Two other great sources of learning are SCN-side resources: SCN Events (check-out the virtual events) and SCN e-learning topics.

We look forward to greeting many of you at our future workshop events!

NOTE:  All links to course materials and discussion threads below are only accessible to professors with access to our members-only workspace.

Can a graduate student planning to support teaching SAP courses later for the university take part in this training? I noticed registration is open and will like to take the UA intro courses below

        https://cw.sdn.sap.com/cw/thread/25599

        and

        https://cw.sdn.sap.com/cw/thread/25600

What is the fee for the foundation level certification taken on the last day for students and faculty but waived only for current faculty. The Wisconsin workshops are closer to me and will like to take an opportunity to attend. Please advise.

        Thanks,

        Anthony

    Two questions:

    1)  Are there advance materials available for the ERP Configuration using GBI course?  If so, how might I obtain those?

    2)  Is there any possibility of adding an ERP Configuration using GBI workshop to any of the other workshop dates/locations?

         a)  Assuming no additional summer workshops can be made available, is there a possibility that this course be offered online in the form of a webinar between now and fall, 2012.

    Thank you.  🙂

      Justin,

Materials for the ERP Configuration using GBI workshop will be posted in the workshop’s discussion forum prior to the workshop. They are not presently available.

We are unable to add this workshop to the other locations, or offer it online this summer. Depending on feedback received from the community over the summer, we may consider offering the course online, however this particular topic is one of the more advanced topics and the face to face format enables attendees to gain the experience needed to successfully use the materials in the classroom.

Taking advantage of the Justin comment, is there any possibility that the three summer workshops could be offer as well online?  Thank you very much.

      Marcela,

We are unable to offer this summer’s workshop topics online. We offer face-to-face workshops in the summer, and have been offering online workshops in the fall, and this year are trying a spring online introductory workshop.

        Thanks John,

I’m a graduate student with IUPUI though I take some classes at IUB which has a SAP UA agreement. Not supporting any professor now but plan to later based on ongoing discussions on a special project.

It will be nice if we can talk further via email or phone.

        Best,

        Anthony
