Convert Your LSMW into Power LSMW with easy changes

LSMW is very powerful robust tool from SAP to use in data upload/change various SAP Modules.

Easy to create and use. But, when we are dealing with complex requirements or such Data Upload Activity where the activity is going to Run by End User.

We stuck between situations where we should go for other options or else.

I have created small codes and method by using you can convert your LSMW in to Power LSMW.

POWER LSMW , I used word because it has certain very useful new features,

I am still working/testing on it to make it correct and more powerful. For Methods like BDC, Direct batch Input is working successfully.

Now, Lets begin with the Functionality part, then I will share User Manual which helps you to Convert your LSMW into Power LSMW.

Features:-

1. Generates Data Upload Template using TABLE/STRUCTURE/BAPI Name

2. Process .XLS/.XLSX File Directly

3. Reduces no of Steps to 2-3 for Complete Process

4. No need to Define Source Structure with Detail Fields

5.Generate Excel Log from SM35 Error Log

6.Allow you to Create Transaction Code of your LSMW , So you can give it to somebody else. No need to use Tcode LSMW Everytime.

7.While Reading Data it Generates ALV Grid as Output

8.It has 1 Custom Report as ZEXECUTE_LSMW which helps you to Execute any LSMW directly.

That is  it. If any body Interested Please Comment will share Screen Shots of my own LSMW , Purchase Info Record Create/Change.

I wont share Documents or Codes unless until I get nice response for my efforts. Thank You.

      Hi Christian,

it seems to be a great idea. I am continuously training key users in different companies. It is always a problem when uploading training data in SAP systems for the exercises. It would be amazing to have an easy to handle tool for managing this task. Could you provide me some useful hints?

      Cheers,

      Sandor
