In SAP E Sourcing a Project is created for Each product category to initiate  the Sourcing Process.

In a real time implementations there are scenarios where sourcing department needs to enter few mandatory Field information in a Project for better tracking & reporting purposes.

The purpose of the blog is to provide the overview of Field level configuration for a Project in SAP E sourcing.

For example the Field Estimated value in Project needs to be made as mandatory as per the sourcing department  implementation guidelines

      Hi

Nice screenshots on the configuration part . please clarify

      a) the configuration done in the portal will it get reflected back in R/3 or anywhere?

      b) when the sourcing is created as project - is this standalone system or integrated with ERP? If RFP how the structure is created in ERP and how & where it is linked?

I have seen the webcast / related link on the project sourcing but not clear how the esourcing is talking or integrated with project management modules like SAP PS / cProjects / PPM / cFolders.

      Appreciate your clarifications.

      Regards

      PP
