Next Friday I will speak at the BPM Offensive Berlin which is a forum about Business Rules in German language. Participants are from universities, public and private sector. The event takes place at the SAP office in Berlin.
Another very interesting opportunity in Berlin to learn more about Business Rules is a workshop organized by Dr. Jürgen Pitschke (NCS, http://www.enterprise-design.eu/de/). He managed to organize this event with help of James Taylor – from my point of view the leading head in the space of decision management.
Contents of the workshop are:
- An introduction to Decisions and Decision Management
- Categorizing and identifying decisions
- Characteristics and design of decisions
- Managing decision logic
- The role of decisions in systems
- Getting started and first steps
All details can be found on the website: http://www.enterprise-design.eu/de/training-und-events/decision-management-james-taylor
I have expressed my appreciation for the work of James already several times. This would be a great opportunity to meet him in person.
After the event James will meet with decision makers from various companies. Maybe this is also a chance to contact him directly for a session. Finally, I need to mention his web site http://www.decisionmanagementsolutions.com/ where lots of interesting material and of course contact data can be found.
