Where the Content Submission System (CSS) is and when to Submit Articles?
With the new SCN platform I get a lot of questions about where is the CSS and how do I continue to submit articles and Media via the CSS.
The answer is simple the system hasn’t moved and continue to give the same service as before with one significant difference: we now accept only SAP submissions and the community will submit their articles directly in the respective spaces by creating what we call Jive docs.
This change will help us a lot with the review process as the official SAP submissions will continue to be published in SAP format with SAP copyright and in a PDF format. The community however will be able to publish their documents without the wait for the review we used in the old site.
The reason for that is to have the community give feedback as part of the site move to a more community oriented platform while the SAP documents continue in their old format.
The link to the CSS has remained as is: http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/contentsubmission and we are looking forward for your active contribution to the system.

How to submit my white paper as SCC is still throwing error?
Is there are any other process for submitting white papers in sdn?
Hi All,
if you are not SAP employees the system won't let you in.
like i said in the Blog, community memebers creating documents in Jive by clicking on Create a document.
Dedi
Please remember that if you are not an SAP employee or contractor, you should either create a blog or document in the appropriate space - that would be how to submit content in our new SCN. Hope that helps.
Will we be getting the same number of points for the documents as we used to get (usually 120) when we submit a 'document'?
Points will be awarded by the community
for more abput points please go here: http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-18475
Hi,
Link- http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/contentsubmission is letting me in. Can I submit my white paper through that or it is specific for SAP employee or contractor?
Thanks.
Hi Dedi,
The CSS keeps asking for a Space Name. I entered netweaver-idm as space name. But when I try to upload my updated document CSS tells me that the field Space Name is blank and that I should enter a name even though it displays the name I entered.
And another question: "Is there really a limit on how many updates I submit?"
Best regards,
Astrid
http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/contentsubmission is redirecting me to same page. Please let me know the link for submitting Wp for SAP BI/BW.
Thanks.

Sukhada
Hi Sukhada...if you are an SAP employee, then you can submit official SAP content here:
http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/contentsubmission . But it looks like that wasn't working for you. If you aren't an SAP employee, then you would just create a document in the space where you want the document to live.
Hi Patrick,
My self Munish and I have 7 years experience in Data Warehousing using Informatica, Oracle and UNIX. Recently I did training in SAP BW. Now while practicing, I am creating some documents which can help the users learning SAB BW. I have few questions if you can please help.
I want to move my career in SAP BI. Any help is appreciated.
Regards,
Munish
Hi Munish...thanks for your note. You're a registered user of SCN, so you can create documents, publish blogs and be part of our discussions - this is how to engage with the community and begin to increase your influence as well as learn from others. Just navigate to the space you're interested in and contribute as appropriate.
Hope that helps, Munish...glad to have you as a part of our community!
Thanks Patrick. I found the way to upload the document. Thanks again for your reply.
Hello Munish ,
How were you able to upload a document ? I have a 65 page document that i need to upload ?
PS : I am not an SAP Employee or Contractor
Hello Patrick ,
I have created a 65 page step by step configuration document that I need to upload on SCN. Is there a way I can do that ? If i use the create document / wiki / blog link , I have to create the whole document again alongwith attaching a lot of screenshots.
Please let me know if there is any way i can 'upload' the document directly.
Hi Viraj,
I create document in word and then I paste it to the document opened by the "create document link". To add the pics, you have to store it somewhere on your system and then to insert as a pic.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Munish
Thanks for the info Munshi . I started doing that . But the problem is I have a large document ( 65 pages) and it mostly has screenshots ( Atleast one each page ). So its going to be a very time consuming task. Thanks again.
Have fun
You will enjoy when you see points in your account.
