Looking for PCM demos, customer references, roadmaps, performance and sizing information, training, documentation or tips & tricks?
After the successful blog about BPC demos, references, roadmaps etc (see Looking for BPC demos, customer references, roadmaps, performance and sizing information, training, documentation or tips & tricks?), Jeremie Brunet from PCM Solution Management and I decided: it’s time to post a similar blog for Profitability and Cost Management (PCM).
Note: there is also a similar blog for SAP Mobile now.
There are plenty of resources out there about PCM 10.0 and older releases and this blog aims to bring the most important sources of information together. We will cover where to find coveted items such as
- EPM roadmap
- Ramp-up end dates for EPM 10.0 (see direct links to the PAM)
- Customer references and video testimonials
- Demos including PCM
- Performance and sizing
- Documentation, How-to Guides, Tips & Tricks
- Training
EPM and PCM Roadmap
For the first time ever the EPM roadmap can be found online at http://service.sap.com/roadmap. The roadmap contains forward looking statements on what’s to come in EPM.

You can influence the roadmap by submitting development suggestions at SAP’s Idea Place https://cw.sdn.sap.com/cw/community/ideas or by rating ideas already submitted by others.
Customer references and video testimonials
You can find many PCM customer case studies and references online.
Also, make sure to check out the PCM YouTube channel at http://www.youtube.com/user/TheSAPPCM.
This includes the Kuwait Oil video testimony which explains how they’ve reach 400% of ROI thanks to the implementation of PCM!

This also includes the latest Case Study at Danone and how they use PCM and FIM to measure the Carbon footprint for 35,000 products:

A great way to meet with customers in person and to hear their stories, is to attend a conference. The ASUG customer conference (http://www.asug.com/) is a great conference to do so. The ASUG local chapter meetings near your, are a great and cost-effective alternative. SAP SAPPHIRENOW (http://www.sapphirenow.com/) and SAP TechEd (http://www.sapteched.com) are great options as well.
Also SAPinsider has a lot of customers presenting at their conferences. The schedule of upcoming conferences can be found at http://www.wispubs.com/sap/conferences.html
