New Version of “Introduction to Portal on Device” Guide
SAP NetWeaver 7.3 SPS05 enables you to consume portal services from mobile devices using a dedicated software package. The implementation provided by the package was designed for smartphones, yet can also be consumed by tablets.
This guide accompanies the portal on device software package and describes the following topics: supported application types, UI components of Portal on Device, configuring the Portal for mobile devices.

DSAG Technology Days in Nürnberg
Our Portal experts Thomas Hensel and Winfried Wenisch went to DSAG Technology Days in Nürnberg last week. They informed interested customers and partners about SAP NetWeaver Portal news on Portal 7.3, mobile development and Enterprise Workspaces. There was also a working group presentation on Portal customizing, theming and branding and another one on Content Management. Many customers and partners participated in our discussion round which focused on expectations for the next release.
