LEARNTEC 2012 will open its doors today in Karlsruhe, Germany to visitors who are interested in the latest trends of learning. I will visit LEARNTEC on Thursday this week and I am already excited about it. Besides the run for the best give-aways, I feel particularly enthusiastic about the LevelUp congress which will be all about gamification and is freely accessible to all visitors of the fair at the GAMES@LEARNTEC-Area on Thursday, Feb 2nd.
From a first glance over this year’s LEARNTEC agenda I can see that hot topics range from learning in social networks over interactive blended learning solutions to didactics in various learning settings. But also critical topics are covered in the talks, for example reasons for unrewarding business trainings.
On Wednesday, there will be a funny thing called the “Spinnersuite” (“spinnen” in German means “to concoct”, “to be mad”, but it can also be used to refer to the development of ideas without restraints) taking place in the foyer of the dm-arena. It’s meant to be a workshop-laboratory-playground combination, where people can meet and jointly develop and advance ideas (it will also be possible to participate virtually, but you’ll have to register). This is based on a method called “Flow Performance”, which was developed to guide individual thinking and group inspiration.
Of course, I will also visit SAP at booth A11 where we will showcase the SAP Learning Solution platform and I will find out about what’s new and hot in enterprise learning. Watch out for more…
